INTRODUCTION: The mandate that God gave Man in Gen. 1: 28-29 is that we should prosper in every endeavour.  So He has given us the wherewithal to be the best and make substantial progress wherever we find ourselves.



Your chosen career path is God’s divine opportunity of fulfilling your life long assignment.
A job is a task or piece of work especially for someone that is paid
Work: a task to be undertaken; activity involving mental or physical effort done in a bid to achieve a result.

Career : an occupation undertaken for a significant paid of a person’s life and with opportunities for progress

Principle one: Every time you engage in what you love most/passion, you’re at work. But if you’re working to just got paid and make a living then you on a job

Principle Two Nothing is more rewarding than diligence; nothing pays more dividends than hard-work.

Principle Three: Every job comes on a pedigree; the higher yours pedigree, the better the quality of job

Principle Four: Never shortchange your employer to your own advantage. It has a way of reducing you. Better to be taken for a ride than be the actual fool.  Luke 16:12

Principle Five: Nothing guarantees self-confidence more than personal development. It’s your unique selling point that makes you different from others. God asked Moses, what is in thy hand? The rod of Moses or the Rod of God.

Career choice mistakes people makes:
People make poor choice based on necessity
People make wrong choices based on ambition
Winners decide career path based on skill, talents and strengths.
Making employment changes; many reason can propel career change
Money: if money is the only reason for change it is unwise. If you go for pay alone, you will end up in pains. But if you pay the price now, you will get the pay later.
Exposure: This is the future of a qualitative career growth. Choice of place of work or change of Job should be majorly because of the exposure it affords
Development: Also if you are presently not stretched where you are, then you need a change of job. Every successful career path is challenging. So also should your place of work, job description and your environment of work
Passion: This is considered the most important reason a change of Job or choice of career path. Your passion may not pay immediately but it surely delivers at the end.

ON THE JOB…
Deploy the principle of diligence
Activate your personal skills
Horne your interpersonal skill
Know something more than what others know and apply where others won’t. You will have created a niche for yourself.
Seeking For Job
Your CV is your ticket to an interview table
Your performance at interviews earn you your status as an employee
At interview, your selling point is he edge over other candidate. Remember, even if you get your Job on a platter of gold, performance appraisal will show whether or not you will still be needed on the job
Know your worth (Understand your capacity and weakness)
Common hindrance career Development
Comfort: Today’s comfort may be the pain if tomorrow. Always stretch yourself. 1 Timothy 5:6
Fear of the unknown
Bad or Negative understanding of self-worth

In conclusion, our Jesus knows how to deliver tomorrow (John 14:19). If you desperately want to see your tomorrow you need Jesus to lead you there. Surrender to Him now and follow Him. God bless you
