INTRODUCTION
Many Christians spend almost their entire lifetime developing our physical and mental senses at the expense of our spirit, forgetting that we are primarily a spiritual being living in a body with a soul.
WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity; he is God’s power in action. John 1:8, Luke 1:35.
Primarily, to every believer, the Holy Spirit is OUR GUIDE. John 14:16-17(AMP)

WHY DO I NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT?
The following are few reasons why we need the Holy Spirit:
Ø   Spiritually we partake of the nature of God. John 4:24
Ø  God won’t lead us through our feelings.
Ø  God won’t lead us through our reasoning.
Ø  God leads only through the Holy Spirit

HOW DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT LEAD?
Ø  Inward witness Romans 8:16, Acts 27:19
Ø  Inward voice
Ø  The word John 6:63

BENEFITS OF BEING LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
v  He reveals secrets/the future to you. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
v  He helps us to pray Romans 8:26:27
v  He helps us fulfill the law. John 13:35, Romans    5:5
v  He teaches
v  He helps you overcome sin 1 John 3:9

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR SPIRIT 
Ø  Praying in other tongues i.e in spirit 1st Corinthians 14:14
Ø  Studying the word
Ø  Waiting on God i.e fasting
Ø  Walking in love
